Coronado AZS Alt-Azimuth Mount

This Coronado AZS Alt-Azimuth Mount will easily secure your PST or SolarMax. A single thumbscrew will attach your telescope to the mount for a simple mounting mechanism. With this mount, you will be able to quickly and accurately point your telescope using the large panhandle (similar to a video camera tripod). Make slight adjustments in both RA and DEC (left-right or up-down) with the included slow-motion control cables that are attached to both axes.

The AZS Mount tripod is made of aluminum and is anodized in a gold color to match the Coronado PST or SolarMax II. The full-size tripod has adjustable legs and a spreader bar that contributes to the sturdiness of the mount.

The Coronado AZS Mount would also work well for any light telescope, spotting scope, or a pair of binoculars via a binocular tripod adapter. Since the optical system attaches to the mount via a thumbscrew, you may need a mounting ring or dovetail to connect the two.
